Well, I went on a selling spree and got rid of all those stupid blox or whatever. 50 gold each and I had a ton of 'em. Add the money I got from the flame shirts and peasant stuff and you've got a lot of money. I made about 3K, I think, from selling all the random stuff I don't need.
