About Ko-Ko
Believe it or not, the person who created this profile page for me, and who writes all my material, does all my graphics, and just about everything else, (and who is, in fact, the real me) is neither a boy nor a teenager, just a lady who likes playing in places like this: you know...frequenting forums, filling out polls, playing with avatars, being a big kid... you know the kind of things I mean.
But you still have to ask, who am I? Ko-Ko (or Koko), of course - the Lord high Executioner of Titipu. You can find out more about me by following some of the links on this page to my website, "Koko's Korner". I promise you, I am a very interesting fellow.
I live in a town in Japan called Titipu, which some people say is really code for Chichibu, a very remarkable real-life town, about 90 minutes from downtown Tokyo, as the bullet-train flies. But as Titipu, you might find some very unusual things. Titipu was created by Sir William S. Gilbert in the year 1885. He was a man with a great deal of respect for Japan, but he also liked having fun with his own people in England. So he created "Titipu", made up a lot of silly people with some very silly names, and had us doing some very silly things. By the way, we all speak English and practice many English customs, but still manage to make ourselves Japanese.
So how did I get to Gaia? I honestly do not know! I wished on a star one night before going to bed, a year or two ago, asking for a new adventure, and - BINGO! Next morning, here I was! So this new world is full of surprises, and I have fun whenever I come to Gaia - although I don't get to visit as often as I'd like.
These are possible costumes I need in order to restore my dignity, using Gaia equipment -- but at home I usually look more like this:
When I first moved to Gaia, I acquired a grand house like this, with two rooms and a garden. But that was almost two years ago, and cost me only 500 G. I am sorry to say, there seems no one left who makes and sells such houses.
So now that I have a real Gaian house, I am slowly working on furnishing it and making it as comfortably hospitable as I can.
And now, a word from Daisy, who really created this page:
A NOTE FROM...
Koko is the most important character in a wonderful Broadway-style musical called "The Mikado", by Sir William S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan. Koko is also my favorite character in all of English literature, (my apologies to the Hobbits, who are my other favorites). Below is a Gaia-esque picture of him with some more of his friends. You can find out a lot more about him here:
On the far left of Ko-Ko is Katisha, about who there is a great deal to tell. From left to right - the street musician, Nanki-Poo - three little Maiko named Pitti-Sing, Yum-Yum, Peep-Bo - Pooh-Bah and Pish-Tush, two samurai who don't even know what "bushido" means. The only person missing is the Mikado himself, but theother reason for that. You can read their full story on the website.
Why, you may well ask, do none of these people have real Japanese names, except for Koko himself, and that is not really a man's name. The reasons were simple. Gilbert was a comedy writer. And the people of Gilbert's Titipu were really English people underneath the Japanese surface.
VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE!
Please...do NOT take any of the graphics on this profile,
except, of course, the ones made by Gaia!
They are all my own originals.

I think I remember you. I once said to you, "Even if you only succeeded in cutting it HALF off, that would be something." Said it on stage, or some such. Among other things. Quite a long time ago.
How are you all doing?
i love that clusmy samurai
