the following is a story of my own invention. it's not finished yet, though. sweatdrop* * *
Leaves rustled over the ground. Not a soul in sight. But then again, sight can be deceiving.
Gotta get out of here. Can’t let them see me.
A shadow cast upon the ground gives away the hidden’s position. A rather small person to be alone in such a place. Especially with two rouge ninjas after her.
“Got her, Wind-sword jutsu!”
A powerful gust of wind burst through the trees, cutting off limbs of trees and ripping off trees tops alike.
The little girl clapped her hands over her mouth. Mustn’t yell. Can’t let them pin-point my location. I don’t have enough chakra left.
“We know where you are. Your stupid ‘chameleon jutsu’ won’t fool us! Wind-sword jutsu!” The jutsu ripped apart the remaining trees, leaving the ground bare and the shadow of the little girl more obvious than ever.
Damn it! They’ve been tracking my shadow! I guess it can’t be helped. Above the shadow, a form of a young girl shimmered and appeared.
“So you decided to show yourself. You’re getting smarter by the moment. Now surrender and you won’t feel a thing.”
“Over my dead body!” The young girl screamed, and started weaving hand signs.
“Wind-sword jutsu!” Wind ripped at the girl.
He’s played right into my hands! “Chakra-wing jutsu!”
Small wings sprouted out of her back, shimmering with a blue-ish haze like chakra. Using the gusts of wind to help propel her, the young girl took of through the trees.
“Damn it!”
“Allow me.” The ninja’s partner said. “Summoning jutsu!” A large bat appeared in front of the ninjas. “Track down the girl. The one with the tetra gram seal on her stomach.”
“Yes sir.” It said and took off.
“Let’s see her run from Ginanto. No one has ever evaded him.”

“You’re sure these are the right coordinates?”
“Keep in mind that the information is a day old. We came to this spot for their scent.” He bit his thumb and wove hand signs. “Summoning jutsu!”
“The eight ninja dogs have arrived.” Pakkun said.
“Sniff around and see if you can find the scent of two Akatsuki members who were here about a day ago.”
Eight of the nine dogs scattered, their noses to the ground. “What’s up Kakashi? What’s Akatsuki up to now?”
“Two of their members were spotted here, chasing a young girl. The witness also said that the girl had a tetra gram seal on her stomach.” Kakashi said.
“And we need to find them before the capture her.” Sakura said.
“But just a tetra gram seal? That would be extremely unstable; the Bijuu has probably already taken over her conscious mind.” Pakkun said.
“We still need to stop the Akastuki from catching her. Anyway we can stop them is good.”
One of the eight dogs barked at Kakashi. “We found the scent.”
“Then let’s get going already!” Naruto said, and took off after the dogs.
