IRL, I'm a workaholic suddenly confronted with some well-earned but frankly excessive free time. (Yes, I'm still employed.) And instead of spring cleaning, I'm holing myself up in the internet and hoping to get my writing skills back up to snuff.

Eh, 50 still applies to many third-world countries. And from the stories my mom tells, it also applied to her as a child (minus the gypsy bartering part).

Yeah, but think about what people used to do 50 years ago: Pop out a bunch of kids to do the household chores for you. And if you come across one you're not particularly fond of, sell it to gypsies.

Well, peeing, aching and, eventually, skin discoloration will happen on their own with the passage of time. Stretch marks, too, maybe. Depends on your metabolism.

So really pregnancy just speeds up the process. Kinda like smoking. Or crack. (Or smoking crack o.o)

What, you don't like smelling the salmon you neighbors three streets over are cooking? Or randomly crying while you wash dishes? Or getting kicked in the kidneys by the miracle of life?

Coffee and liquor. Though I think the coffee would be harder to go without. My kids would totally be born caffeine addicts thanks to my bad pregnancy habits.
