School lunches are difficult. I usually stick with the only thing that's not meat. Pizza. I don't like it much, but it's simple enough.
I don't eat any meat cuz some guy was waving a freshly caught fish in my face and people were cheering for him. It disgusted me and I gave up meat on the spot and never looked back.
Pets are a big factor for most vegetarians. And not many of them are two legged, so I can see your reasoning for being reminded of them.
