I'm not very good at these, but here's the gist of things. My name is Katy and I live in a spiffy place called Stockton! I'm a Jodo-Shinshu Buddhist and yes, I do eat meat. Why do people automatically assume that all Buddhists are vegetarians? Anyway, I sing and I love reading Alan Ginsberg, Shel Shilversteing, Walt Whitman, David Shrigley, and William Golding. My usual haunts are at various cafes, local show spots, and record shops across town. I also go to the Bob Hope theatre to watch classics. Classics need to be watched on the big screen in my opinion. I spend a crazy amount of time tuned into my zune. I listen to a lot of indie, hardcore, grindcore, alternative, and experimental, but I'm always open to different genres. I'm a romantic and a sentimentalist and tears will come forth when provoked. I can be ridiculously shy sometimes, but I will always try to talk to people if they try to talk to me. I have my quirks, but I'm mostly a nice girl : )
