I was in a car accident on April 18,2008. And the result of that broke my nose & cracked my malaxilary sinus, which would be under the eye kinda of where the cheek bone is. The doctor had to put in a metal plate there to keep my eye socket from sliding down. My mom she broke her ankle & a cracked heel that tore the tendons in her foot so she can't walk. (so don't put on the brake when you get in a accident) Plus they had to use the jaws of life to get her out the car. She was stuck between the steering wheel & the dash board. She has a crap load of bruises all over her. Oh yeah I had a concussion I was knocked out for a few minutes. Plus I had a flash back three days after the accident & saw the headrest brake off & come to hit me in the face, and stuff from the trunk flew out & hit me in the back of my head. UPDATE: I guess I should tell how we are doing now. My mom ended up spending 3 months in the hospital. While she was there I had to live with my grandma, then finally when mom got out of the hospital she had to live at grandma's too. She needs help with alot of things, but she is getting better. We have to be room mates , which is a little weird. We end up taking care of each other, cause in 1 year I had 4 surgeries. My face is getting better, you can hardly see the scar. I still get headaches but not as much. Talking to both my mom's and my doctor,I can't believe how bad it was. Before my 1st surgery, I walked around with my nose badly broke and the area where your eye rests in the eye socket was shattered and I didn't know it. (it's all gross just thinking about it) The fun part of it is when I tell someone about my face plate they want to feel it and even grown, manly men can't handle it. The look on their faces are priceless smile
