I am Kye of the Red Hawk Klan of the Northren tribe.

The Red Hawks are a clan of elite warriors, trained to fight and hunt. Of the Northren tribe, they are the best. There are always two in every generation hand-picked to be the top. They are trained from one year old to be who they are, trained by the Elders of all the Clans within the tribe. Rarely are the two related.

I am one of the two top fighters. We have been the best since we were ten years old. Not even our parents could win when we would spar with them. The other is my twin sister, Kiona. Though her eyes are purple, a result of the pairing of our parents, she is blind but she can "see" better then anyone.

My father was human, the one born of the Klan. His eyes are blue, his hair black. My mother was a Kat demon, blood red eyes, and flame red hair when in human form. She is like a black panther when she is in her true form.
My twin sister has our mothers hair, and her eyes a combination of our parents. We never really got along.
I have more a combination of our parents. My eyes are red, like my mothers and my hair is black as night, blacker than my fathers.

On our tenth birthday, our Klan was massacred. Yes, we are the best but when over a hundred demons attacked our home without any warning, we were overwhelmed. My sister wasn't there because she was visiting the Elders. She thought me dead as well. She sought revenge on the demons that killed them. I was wounded, it's true, but I was alive. The Elders found me and repaired me. It is now my task to find my sister and bring her back home, before she can reek havoc upon this world. I am the only one that can stop her. How I miss her.
