Lacus Clyne has a kind, caring and gentle nature but has a strong heart and in her belief. She is part of the Memorial Commitee for the incident at Unius 7 (Bloody Valentine) and is also PLANT's pop idol. Her famous song that she usually sing is 'Shizukana Yoru ni' (Silent Night). She plays the role as the 'guider' in the series, guiding Kira and Athrun to the right path, one can say she's like a goddess.

The Angel Sings:
Lacus is a popstar idol in PLANT but she doesn't sing just for pleasure. Her songs are touched by all coordinators in PLANT because her songs, shizukana yoru ni aren't just normal songs, their the peoples prayers. The Prayers of the Coordinators. It tells the story of the Coordinator's side in the series since most of the series focuses on the Ailliances. Her other song, Mizu no Akashi, is about ending the fighting. It was sung in episode 36, after all the pain and misery that had occured in the past because of the war. Both songs can deeply touched a person's heart and because of her songs, she was able to change many peoples thinking about what they've been fighting for. In short, a significant symbolism in the Gundam SEED series.
