A little of a lot about me!

Hey everyone!

I am Kirsty, or mini as I am known by most friends. I am 15, soon to be 16 in August. I live in the Isle of Skye, for whose who dont know where that is, its in the Highlands of Scotland. I have lived here all my life and it is a lovely place to be. The only bad thing is that there is not much to do. But most days I will go out with a few friends and have a game of footie or man hunt or whatever we can think of really.

I love music. In my house I have music on more or less all the time. I love knowing all the new tracks and I like more or less every type of music, R&B, Rap, Rock, Pop, 80s, 90s, and Teuchey. Teuchey is not a real word, it is a phrase we use for people down here, the music we play and so on. Anyway, I play the fiddle and it is good fun. I finally was allowed to quit it at the school because the woman who was teaching is not very nice and she favours some students. But now I go to someone near by after school, and we have much fun there.
I like football, I am alright, I can get the ball and kick it to someone else, but thats more or less as far as my skills go. I support Rangers Football Club, they have had a rough time but I know there are getting back on top.
I am quite small for my age, under 5ft but I dont mind. It means that I look so small and innocent. At first when people meet me they could say that I am quite shy but when they get to know me they see that I am anything but.
I am a very open person and my friends usually come to me if they need to talk because I have been told I am a good listener, and give good advice. So they say anyway I just go with the flow. But when they talk to me I listen and let them tell me what they want because I know what its like to keep things hidden.
I never really talk to anyone about my feelings or anything very personal, my brother Iain I usually talk to but I dont tell him everything. So I know what it is like when you dont have anyone to talk to so thats maybe why I am a good listener and let them get what ever it is off their chest.
Oh well its the way I am.

Anyway on to my family. I have 2 brothers, both called Iain, well one is my half brother on my dads side. The full blood Iain is turning 14 in October and my half brother will be turning 1 in September. I live with my mum and her partner stays with us some times.
I get along with him fine but he doesnt like the music I listen to and I get told off for having it too loud. He lives in Uig and has a pig, goats, a tiny Billy goat who is soo cute and must be nearly a year old, some chickens and a dog, Moss, who is just the best. So we have a wee farm thing going.
My Gran and Grandpa do B&B which is good because you get to meet new people, even if it is for a day, and they do Taxies as well. Its a living.
My uncle lives with them, he is 27, only 11 years older than me and I think of him more as a brother. He works on the rigs off shore and is quite protective, but what can you do.
I have 2 aunts, one in Glasgow, Catriona and one in Uig as well, Seonag.
Seonag I can always trust, more than my mum and she is always there for me, not that my mum isnt but she doesnt listen to me in the same way. Seonag is engaged and Ewen her fiance, is like an uncle to me already and he is funny and a good laugh.
Catriona I dont see often but she has been quite ill lately but is getting much better. She has a son, Conner who will believe anything I say. He looks up to me in a good way which I think is really sweet and whenever they come down to visit he is always asking for me.
My Dad, I dont see him or speak to him. It is a long story but when I was little and he stayed with us I was very close to him and my brother was close to my mum. He was always there for me and when he left I thought it would be fine but I never saw him and it really hurt me.
But now I am planning to make the first move and see if he wants to try and be apart of my life even though he has already missed so much. I dont know much about my dads side of the family.
