You'll have to forgive me, I'm still a work in progress.
This is the first real make over this profile has ever had, and instead of writing a book, I'll be brief.
Just a few key points about me.
*I'm a young man living in The Big Apple.
*Dark Humor runs in my family and probably always will.
*My mother describes me as "Scruffy" on most days. I promise I clean up well.
*I am a romantic masquerading as a cynic, but aren't we all?
*If I had to pick a stereotype that fit me in high school, it would have to be Goth.
*I love the arts. Period.
*I love working with my hands
A few truths I've learned in my short walk of life
*The energy of the world will continue to flow, with or without you, so be involved in it's current
*Love comes and it goes. And when it comes, be swept by it's magic, because it won't always stay for long.
*Drink and be merry, but it's a good idea to eat first.
*Judgment is the first step in closed mindedness. It's human yes, but it's also narrowing. Judge wisely.
*Smile when your heart is Aching. Smile when you know it's breaking. If there's a cloud in the sky you'll get by.
I like interesting people. I like good conversation and good food. It's why I cook. And though normally I'm very bashful about it, I like to think I'm pretty damn good at it. I like to fill the stomachs of people and see the rewarding smiles of a good meal. The placebo effect of their satisfaction makes the hours of prep work and cooking all worth while.
On that note. I am now a Graduate of the French Culinary Institute's culinary program as of September 1st, 2010.
I'm thinking about doing avatar art. It's something I've always had an interest in doing but was not sure my skills were up to snuff. I'm willing to give a shot now. PM my for requests or particulars. I'd be more than happy to give it a shot.
