Facts About Me:
1. I am a girl. Unless you know me in real life, you will never know my name or age. End of story.
2. I live in the good old state of New York. Again, unless you know me in real life, you will never know any more details about my location.
3. I plan to go into a career in quantum mechanics/ astrophysics/ theoretical physics/ astronomy when I manage to get a degree in one of those fields. Yes, I am a geek, if your definition of a geek is someone who likes to learn and like school. But I'm proud of it.
4. Reading, writing, surfing the web, watching the select few TV shows that I actually like, and music are 5 things that save my life. Without them, I'd probably go insane.
5. Karate is not just for Asians or Jackie Chan- like people. Trust me, I am neither, but I still do it (semi) successfully (I'm an orange belt white stripe). And it is awesome.
6. Doctor Who and the X-Files are the best TV shows on the planet (though there are other REALLY awesome ones, see my Interest Tags for a full list).
7. I am an atheist. I believe that everything can be scientifically explained, just that we don't have the knowledge to do it yet. Although I'm an atheist, I do have a religion, Unitarian Universalism (google it if you're interested in learning more about it). However, if I had a choice (annoying parents force me to go to church), I'd have no religion. Religion does nothing for me.
8. Although I'm an atheist, I have nothing against theists. Any religion you choose if fine, so long as you don't use religion to hurt people or try to make them join your religion.
9. Just because I act happy doesn't mean I am. I could be happy, I could be sugar high, but I'm probably just wearing a mask. I'm an expert at masks.
10. Jack's Mannequin (a band) is right- it's possible to be alone in a crowded room. Trust me.
11. I am a democrat. I think Bush is evil, and he's screwed up our planet. If you don't agree with me, fine. But don't accuse me of being unpatriotic or any other stupid claim, because I won't listen. If your definition of being patriotic is not speaking up against your leaders when they're committing horrible acts or torture or murder, then I don't want to be patriotic.
12. Red speedos (or speedoes, I'm not sure how to make it plural) are freaking amazing!!!!!!
13. Number 12 is an inside joke beteen me and ClawZ07. Don't ask. Trust me, you don't want to know.
14. I'm bad at motivating myself to work. But I still get really good grades in school. Don't ask how it happens- it just does.
15. The Doctor is MINE!!! Do you hear me???? Mine!!!!! You take him, and you will suffer the consequences of my Karate training and exensive weapon collection (sword, bow, dart board, random pieces of rope). Mulder is also MINE!!!! You may not have him. Unless you are ClawZ07. Because as much as I'd like him to be all mine, she found him first. And thankfully agreed to share. Or else I would have had to steal him.
16. No, I will not actually kill you if you take one of the people listed above. They are fictional, no one can truly claim them. I just did it for laughs (and the fact that, despite being fictional, they are completely AWESOME).
17. Latin est bonus! That says "Latin is good." And it is. I've taken it for about 1 1/2 years at school now, and it's an awesome language! Not as hard as everyone seems to think it is, and really fun!
