I am simply not willing to acknowledge the brute has changed for good. He is no more than a puppet for Los Illuminados control. Pity my lord still tries to use him. Heh...*smirks a bit*...your sister is quite mad at me as well. Amazing how one so...stately as your sister gives off the reflection of a monster as well. None of us are humans, Mister Ashford. Why do we always have to act like one and keep up the act of showing compassion to others? We try to blend into human culture, act kind and put on a charade. *points at Alfred* Do not play like you have this code of honour anymore! You can make those tremble before you, so if you wanted to do away with Krauser...do away with him. He is no longer human anymore.

*pauses, somewhat surprised* The mercenary refused to fight? As bad as I'm sure you view me right now, Krauser makes Beelzebub look like a saint. He's a traitor to Los Illuminados and a liar. Why he would refuse to fight...is beyond me. When I knew the man he was a violent maniac. A cold-blooded killer that would jump at a chance to use that horrible knife of his. Perhaps he has changed, but as the saying goes, old habits die hard. *snickers* Krauser growing soft is like me, well, becoming five even. The idea alone amuses me! ...so your family is a matriarchal one? Hm...it can happen, but every castellan in my family has been a male so the idea of a dominant female is...foreign to me.

Such bold words. I shall be watching my back for you and your sister.

So...is that it? You refuse your instincts? When an animal wishes to kill something, they do it. There is no thought process between seeing the prey and killing it. True, we..."humans" are considered to be the more intelligent species but we deny ourselves carnal pleasures! Mister Ashford...you and I aren't that different. We're both noblemen. We've both had great sins put upon us by our families. We have the right to do as we please! Do you let yourself get bossed around by your sister or does she view you as an equal? I doubt the latter's true. Then again, I never had family and this feeling of love is foreign to me. You are the man, you have the cajones, correct? Develop a backbone! It's sad someone younger than you's telling you this.

My trust is a fragile thing, Alfred. Please don't do anything you'd regret.

Ah, Mister Ashford...you could try to get rid of me, but I have an army of people at my beck and whim. I just mention killing someone and they'll do it, no complaints or procrastination. I respected you...Alfred. I thought your family had the potential to be an ally of Los Illuminados. Don't tell me that even though you've grown stronger with your virus, that your mind has become so weak that you now refuse to kill those that perturb you. You let bygones be bygones? Heeheehee...I don't, Mister Ashford. I trusted you...I allowed you into my castle, my personal residence, without so much as raising a finger towards you, correct?

I haven't forgot what it feels to be described as a..."villain" or a "monster," as Mister Kennedy described me years ago. I may be a monster, but at least I don't hide my true intent.

You are not weak, Alfred! You need to believe that! Salazar wanted to use you because of that, and your anger makes you even stronger.

There is no possible way that you are disgracing the Ashford name. You're making it known. If any commoners witnessed that, I think they'd know that the Ashfords are superior.

Alfred... isn't there anything I can do to make you feel better?
