Background info: Was married to a human at one point, but he died shortly after Lothiriel lost their child nine weeks into the pregnancy. Distraught, Lothiriel left her home in the depths of Mirkwood in search of anything that would mask her pain. In her travels she met a demon wolf named Medoriko, who became like an Auntie to her. After healing Medoriko's half-blood sister, Kota, of a deadly poison the clan accepted her as one of their own. Thus she had earned the name 'Hakurei', or 'halfblood', since she was not a wolf. This suited her well, being neither vampire, nor elf. She had never known another of her kind... until Nihiel showed up at her favourite hangout... She was afraid, and yet strangely drawn to him. Nihiel taught her to control her bloodlust, and in turn she gave him what he fought so hard for: her love. Soon these star-crossed lovers were engaged, but it was not meant to be. Nihiel was slain by a group of vampire hunters that had been hunting them for years. Lothiriel survived, but was never the same. Her lovely locks of red hair turned white from grief, and she became bitter and withdrawn from the rest of the world. After losing her Mother, Father, and now her fiancee she decided to take on the role of assassin, or 'freelance' as she affectionately called it, frequently changing her appearance to hide her identity. She has recently found a new bou, whom is her personality mirror.
