Haha Blessed.. I don't think that's the word. I've just stopped caring. I didn't think I would miss those kids because I never really wanted any of my own,
but when I left I felt like something was missing. Been trying to forget by staying busy and working a lot. I also ride a lot so that helps, learned
a lot about motorcycling in the last year or so.

Traveling helps a LOT, you get a new perspective on things.

You know how vines will grasp at something, anything, to help them grow? Yeah that's exactly how children are. Stability is super-important during the growing phase.
I didn't have any of that, which is why I lived in 11 different states before age 18 and eventually moved away from America entirely. Now I've got an amazing job that
pays well and is loaded with benefits, no debt to speak of and tons of money put away for absolutely nothing. I might buy a bigger motorbike..

I can't say that sometimes I don't miss spending time with my former step kids but damn it's so nice not having to put up with a crazy woman's inane vitriol..

You don't have to give up. You just have to wait. I did date casually for a while but definitely nothing serious. I really don't want kids of my own, but if I dated a single mom with a child over 5 that would be ok.
Haha I just have trust issues that keep me from ever committing to a relationship if I see Danger Signs..

I used to be in a LTR with a single mom.. She had 2 kids, a boy and a girl. They both looked up to me. They both needed me, like plants. I watered them, I fed them, but most importantly I lead them.
We were happy for 4 years, until the mom became a raging alcoholic. I had to sadly leave but the kids, I'll never forget those kids faces... I don't know what's become of them.

Because of that, I haven't been interested in seeing anyone, and it's been 3 years.
