Tori Higarasu
Tori is the main character of Lore of Envoy. He weilds the legendary Holy Blade, which was re-foreged into the Gaea Feather by his grandfather. Tori is on a mission to find his lost sister Rena, who was kidnapped by a mysterious cloaked man when he was young. In the story he is 15 years old.
Kayla
Tori's best friend. She's an archer who found Tori in a forest one day. Since then she's been with him, taking care of him and helping out in tight situations.
Core
Core is a mercenary hired by Lore to kill Tori. He is also the Envoy of Wind, commanding the Wind Glade sword.
Phoenix
Phoenix is the brother of Core, and also the Envoy of Fire. He weilds the Phoenix Fire katana, an oversized sword like his brother's. He is a devoted accomplice with Lore to bring down the links of the Holy Sword and bring Lore back to his once great demon form.
Lore (Human, Demon)
Lore appears in two forms- his human, sword-weilding form, and his demon form. In his human form, he helps out Tori to gain his trust. When he builds up to his demon form, he attempts to destroy Tori. But of course, this is not his true demon form, and Tori doesn't defeat the real Lore, but one of his clones- his puppet. Lore gains his energy through stealing souls, as seen when he faces the gang of bandits in Chapter 4.
Chronos
Chronos is an ex-member of the secret group B.L.A.C.K. He resigned from the group when he lashed out against another memeber for his feud with Chronos. Chronos is an expert gunslinger and demon hunter. B.L.A.C.K. does make an appearance in the manga, too. Chronos teams up with Tori after a fight.
Leon
Leon is a blacksmith from a land of riches. He came to the more rural areas to escape from the technology, so he could simply indulge in his sword skills. He weilds a large hammer and alchemy, allowing him to change the hammer into anything his derranged mind wishes. He teams up with Tori when he shows up- he has a way of doing that at the most needed moments.
Rena
Tori's sister. She was kidnapped by a mysterious man to be brought to Lore. In Tori's fight against Lore, she is used as a shield to stop Tori from fighting. In their childhood, Tori and Rena would spar. When she is controlled by Lore later in the series, she fights Tori in a "mirror" style- she has the same sword style as Tori.
Reus
Reus is a member of BLACK, and the second member Tori encounters. He weilds a deck of enchanted playing cards that are just as strong as the Gaea Wing.
Luseau
Luseau is a member of BLACK, and the third member Tori encounters. He uses ninjutsu and poison attacks to defeat his enemies.
Raeus
Raeus is the legendary archer, a member of BLACK. He uses magic arrows, much like Kayla, allowing him to duel-weild bows. He is the fourth to be encountered by Tori.
Verus
The leader of BLACK. He controls the barriers of the city and weilds a blade that can freeze his targets. His mere stare can paralyze a foe.
