I was asked not too long ago to list the groups that I associate myself with in a proud manner, but to avoid "hobbies." I am a Reader. It's who I am, not just a "hobby" to kill time. In addition to that I am a devoted movie buff who loves the classics, but will more than likely watch anything you put in front of me. However, if my present profile layout was not a dead giveaway, I am a bit of a gamer and something of a Cloud Strife fangirl.
I am involved in a deeply committed relationship. He gives me lots of love, support, and a steady supply of new books. Somehow someone who's always been at my side became very dear to my heart over the years. And that's really cool!
Last but not least I am owned, of all things, by a cat. She is quite the demanding mistress too. Perhaps it is as Terry Pratchett says and cats have not forgotten that they were once gods in Egypt. I suppose we must suffer the consequences of this ancient divinity in the present.
