Appearance: She, literally, looks like a doll. A tiny Spanish doll. She only stands at about 4'10", so her siblings and even her cousins (Melior and Melusine) tower over her. Her auburn hair has been short ever since she was a little girl and curls ever so slightly around her cheeks, the rest tends to form perfectly around her neck. Her eyes are the same orange-brown that her brother has, but with hints of yellow.
Madeleine tends to wear more classic clothing than modern, and it often covers most of her body. She is also fond of corsets as she likes the pretty designs, but doesn't tend to wear them too tightly. Unfortunately most of her wardrobe is of dark colors. On occasion she will wear bows or clips in her hair.
Personality: Madeleine has an extremely quiet personality, even without the fact that she's mute. She can also tend to fall a bit on the macabre side, probably due to her father's death and being cursed. She is a very sweet girl, but is interested in dark things and all aspects of death, which enables her to to not be afraid of it, despite it being all around her. She is not as clingy as she was when she was a child, but still prefers to be around people she knows and absolutely hates being alone. She has a few friends, especially those she works with, but overall is quite shy.
Madeleine is well versed on many topics, as she spends a good deal of her time reading. Like her brother she is interested in mythology, but also has a great fascination with gardening and homemaking, especially sewing.
Abilities: Through intense studying and her own God-given abilities, Madeleine can actually "speak" to those with either telepathic abilities, some form of mind ability, or who have ailments that otherwise make them able to receive her voice. Her voice is that of her 8-year-old self. She also knows sign language and will sometimes use magic to write things she wants to say when she doesn't feel like signing.
Not really an ability, but she also knows quirky little spells, like how to make pots and pans dance, that she picked up from all her reading and a bit of her own experimenting. None of them are particularly useful, they just amuse her.
Madeleine can also communicate with the dead.
History: Madeleine was once a bubbly and happy child, but most of that was stripped away when she witnessed her father's murder. After her brother left for school, she was very depressed for a time and refused to leave her mother's side. When it came time for her to leave for school, she was very apprehensive and frightened, often to the point that she would sometimes leave her own school to see Augustine at Hogwarts. When he eventually graduated and left to start his own life, she gradually became more and more independent, until she was finally able to do things on her own. By the time she graduated, she had been offered a job and despite still living with her mother and her older sister, she began to do more on her own.
Extra Information: The man who cursed Madeleine did not simply put a "mute" curse on her - he meant to transform her into a doll, a way to torment her father in his last moments. However, he was not the skilled wizard he thought he was. He made her more "doll" like; she has barely grown over the years, she appears child-like, and the voice she sends telepathically is that of an 8 year old girl.
