Welcome to my profile! My name is Rachiru-chan. I've been on Gaia since January 2004, so I'm a total 'oldbie' and have watched this site grow and change drastically. I remember when there were 3 towns, and you had to go to the town to find a shop. There was a Personals building, but it wasn't in use. Angelic Scarves were 10k, Sashes 60k, and Minis 1mil. I quested for them all but only got the scarf. I remember when Donation Items (not monthly collectibles) were original and cool. They were only 3.5k not 3.5 billion. I remember Pink Links, Wooden Trunks, and Blue/Pink Giftboxes and when they were frequent to get. When events were fun and painless, and you had to work to make gold. I remember when shops had real backgrounds. Ian was blond and Rufus slept in his shop. When Ruby and Peyo shared a screen. Rina and Rock Puppy were just a characters that welcomed you. Hacking was rare, and donations really meant something to those who received them. I remember when Gambino ruled everything and Gino was just a little kid. I remember when the first mansion was destroyed, Gambino was poor afterward, and Gino had amnesia. I remember the excitement when fishing was released and the idea of Towns and Housing was being developed. There was no ZOMG or pet system. We had monthly gold shop updates because rigs and evolving items didn't exist, and there were no avatar mod items. Everyone used the same base. I remember it all folks. Why? Because I have no life!
