Sometimes I don't go on for a couple days, I'm such a busy person with graphic designing & such. I like to cosplay as Mai, so maybe I'll post some pictures here.

I am a master of knives, hand arrows/stilettos and shuriken knives, a skill that apparently started with me through throwing knives at my bedroom wall out of boredom. I have a deadly accuracy with these weapons and I use them to pin my opponents down, this helps me against benders as they primarily need their hands and arms to be free to bend. My skill is great enough to defeat powerful benders and multiple opponents. I usually pin my opponents down with my stilettos, I have been seen throwing them in a way that would cause severe, and possibly fatal, injuries, like when I attacked Aang and Katara in "Return to Omashu", and Toph in "The Crossroads of Destiny". My skill was enough to incapacitate several prison guards in "The Boiling Rock, Part 2" without killing or injuring them. I am also shown to be able to slide across surfaces on my side when attacking the guards on the Boiling Rock, I am able to attack and dodge, by throwing a knife and diving onto my side, gliding across the metal surface in one fluid motion

Mai was born in the Fire Nation, a daughter of a nobleman and his wife. Mai was an only child for most of her life (until her baby brother tom-tom was born). Mai's parents were strict and she was required to stay silent and behave perfectly for her father's political career, which in later led to Mai's emotional distance. Mai greatly despised her life in the Fire Nation to the point she would throw knives at her wall out of boredom. Since Mai attended the Royal Fire Academy for Girls, she met Ty Lee and Azula. But later, turned against Azula.
