Cait was little more than a toddler when she was found by the fae, she has almost no recollection of her life among the humans... raised by a kindly Brownie, a Gragedd Anwnn and a Bean Tighe she didn't grow up with a want for much beyond the company of other children.
A strong willed adolescent, but very wise for her age in the lore of faeries and their kind.
She's a determined girl, cunning and tricksome.
Raised amongst the fae, she's almost never seen another human, until she witnessed the courtly procession of the Daione Sidhe and their "Stolen" through her.

And the story? Born Fae, but it was suppressed deep down because some Changeling born to mortals tend to do that. Had a twin sister (who is mortal, go figure), but she was stolen away when they were 7 and then had a spell cast on her to make her think her sister died instead. Her mom and grandma are witches and are scary even to some low-level Fae, but Lyn herself doesn't believe in the supernatural and known to just walk/run away if you bring it up (unless you're her best friend Jessica). She starts to go through a second "puberty" when her suppressed magic decides for her to be Fae (though that may also be a part of the gift that was parted to her by her father Hahahaha, thanks for nothing, dad), which freaks her out greatly. There's more, but I'm still working out some plot points. ninja ))
