About
Mario's Life Story
Birth
Mario & Luigi were both born in the Mushroom Kingdom. Kamek Koopa forecasted their birth and set out to capture them; however, he captured only Luigi, while Mario landed on Yoshi's Island (know the SMW2 story?). After many adventures, the Yoshis freed Luigi and the heroes were born.
Childhood & Growing Up
The parents of the heroes did not want the Koopa to constantly interrupt the peaceful life of the family, so the mother had no choice but to send the kids to Earth, where they could peacefully grow up. Mario had a few adventures with zoo-type stuff there (Donkey Kong Arcade, Donkey Kong Jr.). First the twins lived in Italy, but then moved to Brooklyn, New York. They worked in a demolition job, but then changed it to a plumber.
Pipes, Pipes, and...Pipes?
When strange turtles started coming out of the sewers in Brooklyn, Mario & Luigi fixed the problem. Then they noticed some strange pipe. They went down and were warped into the Mushroom Kingdom...
They came into a terrible time. They were overjoyed to meet their mother, but not so happy when they found out that the Mushroom Kingdom had a problem. They went and defeated King Bowser to rescue Princess Peach.
Bowser, the King of Repetition
To the Mario brothers' surprise, Bowser did not give up. Bowser repeated his evil in more Mario games. His seven Koopa Kids were wreacking havoc on the Mushroom Kingdom yet again in Super Mario Bros. 3. In Super Mario World the story was not different. It was obvious that Bowser wanted to destroy Mario forever...
Power Stars and Star Spirits
It was all quiet and Peach decided to invite Mario for some cake. When Mario came, though, he encountered a peculiar silence. It was later found out that Bowser had captured the Power Stars...(the story line for Super Mario 64). Then, Bowser used the magical Star Rod to help capture Princess Peach. Of course, with invincibility, Mario would never be able to defeat Bowser, especially after forgetting how to fight - it was peaceful for, like, a few years (Paper Mario storyline). Fortunately, after being bested by Bowser, Mario was revived by the Star Spirits, saved each and every Star Spirit, and used their power to overcome Bowser!
Bowser...Selectable?
To many people's surprise, Bowser fit in. He raced with Mario and played tennis and golf. The only time that he was bad, without adventures, was in the Mario Party games. He loooved to ruin Mario's parties! Later on, shortly after losing to Mario even with the Star Rod, Bowser was able to participate in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Now was his chance to get revenge on the plumber!
The Haunt and Banishment of King Boo
After several years of doing absolutely nothing, Luigi finally got to be the hero...and in a scary place, at that. Mario was captured by the nefarious King Boo within a mansion that Luigi had won! Luigi, with the help of a new device called the Poltergeist 3000 devised by E. Gadd, was to defeat all of the ghosts in the mansion and rescue his older brother. Finally, Luigi had proven that he, too, can be a great hero.
Goo, Sludge, Graffiti, and Piantas
After his horrible experience of being kidnapped, Mario, Peach, and her servant Toadsworth decided to go on a vacation to the peaceful Isle Delfino. Unfortunately for Mario, a malevolent being very similar to him had been painting graffiti all over the island! Erroneously identified as the culprit, Mario is forced to clean up the island with the help of the Flash Liquid Ultra Dousing Device, or FLUDD. Along the way, Mario realizes that this is the work of Baby Bowser and Bowser, and, after retrieving all of the scattered Shine Sprites, defeats the duo and finally gets his vacation.
Golf, Adventure, Racing, Parties
Well, upon returning from Isle Delfino, Mario had nothing to do, so he spent his time golfing in fabulous golf courses such as Blooper Bay. Several months later, he received a letter from Princess Peach and rushed off to Toad Town...taking Luigi with him! Upon arriving to the castle, he finds out that Peach's voice had been transformed into bombs...and, after some misconception and confusion, Mario boards Bowser's flying ship, only to have it crash-land in Beanbean Kingdom! Thus begins a quite lengthy adventure involving the evil sorcerer Cackletta, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga! Cackletta's spirit overtook Bowser's body and the new Bowletta kidnapped Princess Peach; Mario and Luigi, however, after a series of long adventures, finally manage to defeat Bowletta and rescue the Princess yet again. Upon returning now, they engaged in fun activities again, such as kart racing and partying.
The Thousand-Year Door
After some more leisure time, Mario received a letter from Princess Peach. The letter said that the princess has attached a strange map and wishes for Mario to arrive at Rogueport as soon as possible. Unfortunately, what Mario does not know is that shortly after sending the map, Peach was kidnapped...but not by Bowser! A vile techie group called the X-Nauts kidnapped Peach in the hopes of getting the Magical Map she acquired. The Magical Map would lead to the seven Crystal Stars necessary to unlock the Thousand-Year Door...which the X-Nauts would use to conquer the world. Mario found the seven Crystal Stars, only to find that the X-Nauts got through the door because the thousand-year seal had been broken. Using captive Princess Peach, the X-Nauts resurrected an ancient demon, which was, in fact, the Legendary Treasure; Mario, however, arrived in time, and defeated the evil demon to save the world from catastrophe
