About
So let me tell you a little bit about myself:
My name is Andi (which means Spirit in Icelandic), but you can call me A. I got pregnant at the age of 17 (2007) and I've been a happy mother since June 14th, 2008. I hope to get a little program, sort of funded by the local hospital, to educate High School aged teens on how teen pregnancy affects life and how difficult being a teen parent can be. My goal: to reduce a small percent, (0.5%) at the LEAST, of the teen pregnancy rate in the United States!
I am ever so happily engaged to a wonderful man. Even though we had only been dating for 4 months when he purposed, nothing in me was telling me I wasn't ready for it. I had been in enough relationship to, at the age of 20, know what I wanted in a partner. We are due to be married Spring 2012.
My daughter is everything to me and I would never take back having her so young for the world. She is my sunshine, the reason I go on and the reason I am still here today. My childhood and most of my middle school to 9th grade year were very tough for me. Moving in with my dead beat mother in 10th grade only made things worse and then in 11th grade I got pregnant a MONTH into a relationship. After I had my daughter life slowly started to look brighter for me!
