Important Before you ask to see a picture of me, please respect the fact that I don't like to show pictures of myself to people I've never met before. I'm sure you're a nice person with the best of intentions, but this is just the way I was raised. I refuse to put pictures of myself on the internet. ;(Hello there, random person reading my profile.
I'm Metsudo. I joined Gaia in the... I believe it was summer of 2005. Yes, so I'm basically still a n00bcake to a lot of you.
The school that I attend has a laptop program, where everything that the students do is on laptop. I'm a member of this program and so, I have a laptop also. (Which I paid for with my own money, thank you very much. And it's a very pretty laptop, too) Unfortunately, laptop students are not monitored for which sites they visit and because of this, I began going on Gaia a lot during the school day, for which my grades and marks suffered.
Because my grades were dropping, I forced myself to take a break from Gaia. Yes, it took willpower but I did it. Oddly enough, I believe this is what it feels like when a person goes on a diet and it actually works and they lose like, a hundred pounds. My grades are slowly climbing back to what they once were and I have a lot more control over myself, though I can't say the same for much of the Gaian population.
I log on in the evenings after I complete my homework. The time usually being around 7:30 p.m. If for any reason you wish to P.M. me and require a prompt response, please do so in the 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. time frame. I log off after 8:30 p.m. Also, I don't usually sign in on weekends.
I have a few friends IRL who use Gaia. CrimThunder being one of them and SuicidalMuffin being another. Yes there are others, I just can't remember all of them at the moment. Sorry.
I'm frequently asked what Metsudo means, so I'll just explain it. Metsudo is a stage in Buddhism. It means 'complete annihilation of self' and is similar to Nirvana; they both mean happiness. No, I am not a Buddhist. Nor am I a fan of the musical group Nirvana.
