There once was a young girl by the name of Abbey. Because her parents were busy folk and did not have the time to discipline their little girl, when she was just a toddler, they called upon a witch. With a few words and a thump on the head, a spell was cast on Abbey that caused her to obey any order given to her by whomever wore the simple necklace given to her parents by the witch. But, as the girl grew older, and money grew tight in the family, her parents began to consider selling their daughter. There had been offers, and the price for a girl with such a spell cast on her would set the family for life. Abbey knew about the deal her parents were trying to make, and knew there was nothing that could be done to change their mind.
