This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper. a great man once said: it's not the thought of violence that scares us, it is not the thought of it that we fear. it is the thought of losing and some one being able to beat us that we fear. then again a great woman once said: if we fear then we feel, but it is fear that makes us powerful, for when we feel fear, we are like a mouse in a corner, you must fight your way out to survive.

So I thought what i'd do was, i'd pretend i was one of those deaf-mutes.

You can't change anything, unless you are prepared to discard a part of yourself too. to surpass monsters you must be willing to abandon your humanity.
We don't have to know what tomorrow holds! That's why we can live for everything we are worth today.
