It all depends on the item but it will say "whatever" drop in your inventory and it'll tell you when your fish dies when you open your tank.

Yeah. When they become "drops" you can sell them in the marketplace.

You can remove it but you still won't be able to sell it.

Um, well you could always buy something from the Cash Shop, sell it, and then buy Lusty =p. But I'd trade Lusty for a Valefor Academy Bundle (999GC)

You can't sell a fish that you've put in your tank until it dies. I didn't put mine in the tank. Hope this helped you. ^_^
