yeah, there have been quite a few contests. they're not exactly frequent, but they ususally happen around special events or holidays.

The thing that I really love though are the contests where users can design items. Those are usually the really awesome and populer items.

Yeah, since gaia has been around for a little while now maybe there idea bank has been running dry. Even alot of the monthly collectibles lately just seem like slightly different versions of other ones

the fortune eggs had things like dinosaur costumes, gasmasks, a turkey; totally random and not at all interesting to me things. There were only a few items that everyone really liked, like the kitty mascot suits.
