I mean I knew you were a collector, but woooowww. I really DO hope that you can get access to those accounts because of the real money you've spent. I'd say that they OWE you access to those accounts. And I really think that they wouldn't steal the stuff from your accounts. I hope not... sad
That makes me really sad that the staff members on that other site took your stuff. sad

I already started liquidating myself, actually. I was fearful (still *kind of* am) that Gaia was just going to shut itself down, so I started selling my items for Gaia gold and then commissioning art with the gold/items. I got SO MUCH art that way, and my account is almost empty in terms of stuff. So I feel like I got my "moneys worth" out of Gaia by doing that. biggrin
Bert helped me a lot though. He actually gave me a lot of stuff/gold. ^^;;;;;

Isn't there a really long queue though to get your accounts unlocked? Good luck with that D:

Well, I used Gaia in an "on again, off again" fashion with Bert. He and I would sometimes poke around, but then I'd get really busy with my studies at the university and wouldn't log on for a while. So there were definitely times when I didn't log on. And inflation here is SO BAD.... and yeah, I hate the "BUY THIS RIGHT NOW YOU'LL REGRET IT IF NOT" mentality... you probably don't know this, but Gaia has a new CEO. He doesn't really care about community building like the old Gaia admins did. =/

Liking the outdoors is a great thing, so I feel like I should encourage that. Buuuutttt.... I was thinking that if you don't really log onto Gaia much anymore, I'd like a better way to keep in touch with you. ^^
So you should use Skype at least sometimes. You know, so you can keep in touch with your daughter (that's pretty cool that she's moving to Japan :O ) and me bwahaha. WOW! You met him when he was 15? Isn't he 26 now? Holy crap, is he really.... where did the time go? I'm 22 and I feel old. XD
I'll PM you my Skype name, or something. Let me know what mode of communication (Facebook or something?) works best for you. biggrin

Well I graduated from college (can you believe that?!?! When you and I met, I was in high school!). So I'm very happy about that. But I'm trying to find employment right now. It's not easy. D:
