Martin Luther King gave his life in order to bring about equal rights. He had so much faith and hope in what he believed in, that he was willing to sacrifice himself in order to achieve it.I want to be like him. I want to have something that I am willing to fight for, something worth dying for. Something that brings me hope in the dead of night, something that stills the tears in the wake of misery.
The true courage lies in living and suffering for what you believe in, rather than fighting and dying for what you believe in.
