"Tells" - by me






he tells me he's sorry
he tells me it's true,
he tells me im beautiful
and "I cant live without you."

he speaks with sweet words,
and never does any wrong.
but how can he ignore me
for we have been together for so long.

I know he doesnt mean it
I know it hurts him to.
But i dont think he understands
the heartbreak im put through.

Listening to the silence,
for hours straight on end.
Makes me begin to wonder,
How much time i will have to spend?

I feel like im the second best,
in his heart that beats so pure.
And every time i say it,
He tells me im not for sure.

How can i know that,
if im casted aside each day.
You have proven it before to me,
Just why cant you just stick to what you say...

the tells you sing so sweetly...
always crush me so deeply...
