This is me in a nut shell
I am a 2nd year university student at my local hometown university/collage majoring in English. I love to write fantasy/scifi, snowboard, watch anime, read, and drink. (my favorite drinks are whalers rum with coke, Alexander Kieth's, Guinness, etc...)Niefan is a character of a story I started writing set in the Forgotten Realms and never finished. In the story he is a 3/4 human and 1/4 drow (dark elf)mix. He is a thief, one of the best in Luskan and has two magic daggers. His full name is Niefan Krinds. I came up with the name by using letters from the phrase thief in the dark.
My snowboard is an Austrian made Arbor Formula 63 with Technine bindings(that probably means nothing to most people). I drive a Toyota RAV 4 named the tank cause I drive it like I can go through anything.
I was in Japan for 16 days last year and fell in love with the country. I hope to become an English teacher so I can go and teach there for 2 years.
I am a gamer, I play rpgs and first person shooters both on and offline. Currently Capcom is my favorite game developer but Bioware is a very close second.
My favorite bands are Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. I also like Weezer, Finger Eleven, Weird Al, and some songs from almost all major and some minor artists. I will listen to almost any music but my favorite genres are classical, rock and folk.
My Favorite authors are R.A. Salvatore, E.E. Knight, James Clavell, and J.R.R. Tolkien. My favorite books are all of Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books, the Hobbit, LOTR, Cloud of Sparrows, Autumn Bridge, Shogun, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and the Vampire Earth series.
My favorite anime is Gundam Wing. I also like Samurai Champloo, Trinity Blood, Gungrave, Trigun, Get Backers, and more that I can't remember right now.
One more thing, I was born and raised, and still live, in Alberta, Canada
