teh ponds i go to have crystal clean flowing water and are at the bottom of water falls yes many are the size of a large kitty pool and only 5.5ft deep but theyare still very cold water and there is one that is really deep 7+ feet that people can dive in

there are places to hide from son and heat... there are palces that get rained on a WHOLE lot and the mountains of course ... i prefer ponds over beaches
