Of course a tailcoat and a fedora never hurt things, but there are things that will do more to compliment a more feminine figure, particularly in the hat department, though a man can do no better than a fedora.
Once again, my thanks. In fact, the picture on the right is what I wear every day. My wardrobe has reverted to that of a cartoon character, with a full drawer of plain black shirts and black jeans for use with the least formal of my tailed coats (excluding the tailed shirt and cardigan, given that they are not actually coats at all).
Im not following you and taking your posts piece by piece apart, and examining and pointing out every flaw.
