Hey you. I haven't been on Gaia in forever, and it seems you haven't either. Remembered you because I'm going to be applying for a dig in Mongolia Summer 2010. I completed my first field school and it was a blast, and I can't wait to get back into the field. Decided that I'll be going for my Masters in Australia after I graduate. My goal is to beat you in the number of countries visited and done archaeology in. xD

hey if its not the one that is like my cousin, she to traveled the world as archaeology but now she is working for the UN..... um ok
my cousin now lives in New Zealand kind of not what she went to collage for but sure I say she should go for it razz

I've traveled across europe. and I've been to Japan, Mexico, Canada, venezuela, and Turkey. I travel whenever I can as a hobby, but not as a job. i'm really interested in archeology though. and thats awesome you made that yourself, I was wondering that.

That was the deal I made when I joined. They pay for my college.

I'm from Washington state in the US. So quite possibly the states for schools.

And yeah, I wanted to do Anthro/Archae as well. Also some underwater stuff. Just you know, in the event I decided to go hunting for the lost continent of Atlantis. =p

Um. I'm in the Army. I'm used to shitty working conditions on shitty days. xD

Though before I joined I had just started working my way into that field. But as much as I love it, it doesn't appear to make a lot of money. If I did pursue it still once I'm out of this whole thing in a few years, I wouldn't make my career from it. Probably try and make detective somewhere.



I'm surprised though. I've never met an archaeology student. Where are some good schools?
