There were two in-school performances today, and the local elementary and intermediate schools brought some of their kids over to see the play. Some of them were absolutely adorable.
But there's one kid, who's actually in the play, that I positively ADORE. His name is Noah, and he's the little boy that plays Chip. He's so cute! His mother has a British accent, so he has the slightest trace of one, and he's just so.... so... CUTE!
But yeah, I'm alright. Limping, but alright. I went to roll one of the flats off the stage, and some kids weren't looking out, so they ran into the flat, consequently smashing part of it into my ankle.
XD I hope so, but that doesn't stop it from terrifying me. I mean, I may never see some of my friends again. And, on top of it, everything I've become accustomed to is suddenly going to go away. Oo; It freaks me out.
And yeah, speaking of rehearsal, I gotta get ready to go to today's... DX
Oh geez, that reminds me, I need to do my Christmas shopping...
So: What exactly does the tech team do?
Depends on who you're asking. We all have different jobs. The easiest way to put it would probably be: The tech team does everything that isn't acting. Including running the background flats onstage then offstage then onstage then offstage... etc. (I work backstage, so that's my oh-so-exciting job.)
Anyhoo.
Y'know, I've NEVER thought that college was easy. Because I mean, doesn't one go to college to extend their knowledge of a certain subject? To challenge themselves? Oo; At least... that's what I think...
Always tired. Senior year is thoroughly kicking my a**, and I'm on the tech team for my school's latest theatre production, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. That's taking up almost every waking moment I have. ;~;
