Hello, I hope everything is going well. I have an old injury and I walked a lot as always and made it worse. sad I hate when that happens, like you want to be healthy and bam! turns out you should've rested instead of following the no pain no gain bs blaugh

Ah I know beatsaber, looks fun but, I thought it seemed monotone so I didn't try it. I tried horror games on VR, and I loved them.

And ofc videogame cheaters win thousands as long as they don't get caught . 4laugh

Interesting! I actually hanged out with Goths, I am not sure if there was ever "rules" to it, there was the fashion, aesthetic and music codes tho. I still love some of the music like Lacrimosa. Ah well hope you enjoy your hiatus I may take one myself, finally completed the guide and I have to go back to school 2day. crying

Aww cheer up! You have to look for positive things in your life! Try to reeplace your mind of these intrusive thoughts for things meaningful to you! Maybe a new record on DDR? maybe getting to know new people?

I loved dancing rythm games because of Boost A Groove, the songs also brign me nostalgia so Ik how good it feels playing your og songs again 4laugh

That's awful but I guess the gaming community already has some structures to deplatform cheaters. I remember seeing Karl Jobst describing how in OSU! some players have developed refined cheat detection software. People obvsly do it for clout or money since videogames have been a lucrative genre, however is good to know that in "professional" e-sport competitions there will be those barriers against cheating. But it's going to always be a persistent problems in most communities and games when the devs stop giving a damn.

Old subculture sound interesting! What kind of subcultures? I have been watching a couple of philosophy videos and recently I started to watch "all grown up" the ruggrats series when they are tweens smile

What happened in that mass epidemy cheating? like, how did people started finding out? I just know about Mario 64 Speedruns that were detected with new technology but was that the same in many videogames or are you referring to PVP games?

What the what?!?!?! nope, I haven't!! :O who tried to poison whom?! I haven't watched any interesting video lately except my Jap horror stories and my game (l4d2) tourneys, current tourneys have had drama with cheating and use of alt accts btw xp sweatdrop oh and some learn german vids 4laugh

And I haven't told you about my days lately was expecting to tell you in dms, but basically I have been going out after diminishing my time on here recently, went to see a light show and to a language exchange meeting, I plan to go to another one today. Sadly I had an anxiety attack crying they suck cuz' I can't sleep at all.

Also, does that mean you still play DDR but with a controller? And omg owo you must be pretty skilled!! Were those local tourneys? And were there/are there still tourneys where you live? Here DDR never got popular in arcades but we had pump tourneys as well, I wonder, is there an ongoing DDR world tournament? And yeah I also have a dance mat, I still have one but no space for it sad

I don't play chess anymore, but cheaters are indeed frustrating sometimes, they can be lower ranking than you and grab a bunch of your points and some of them are clever so it's kind of impossible to catch them.

About the receiver in the pooper theory... xd yesss people believed it!!! because 1) the former world's champion (Carlsen M.) made the accusation and was seconded by another of the world's best player and famous streamer (Hikaru N.) and 2) the victim of the accusations (Hans Niemann) is an edgelord that had cheated in the past and those two knew of him cheating. I have this very complete video essay about the topic, you don't need to know "chess" just that this was a major scandal for the chess world and was talked about everywhere because how non-dramatic/boring the chess game usually was, (Also you could just watch half of the video since the video is 2 long or let me know and I'll send you a shorter one but I liked how complete with chronology that essay tried to be)

Omg you really like DDR, did you participate in tourneys andddddd do you play on the hardest difficulties? I loved the games too but never played too much except for a disney ddr of the Ps1 which I love, but I like the korean Pump it up, I haven't played in years but I used to watch videos of freestylers while doing my running eek they were so amazing! Have you played all ddrs? are ddr machines in the arcades in Canada?

About chess, the bot I mentionned you that uses AI is Alpha Zero, its moves are very strange... Oh I didn't know that about the grand master but I planned to share with you an hilarious video of a recent chess controversy that had lots of entertaining drama... basically a player that beated the world champion was accused by him of cheating.. the theories accused him to hide a probe in his butt xd I have not encountered AI's but I certainly encountered at least one cheater using an engine on chess.com some are just too obvious,,, take regular time to move and have inconsistent games, most of them with high accuracy but a few have either one "fatal mistake" or are really badly played, cheaters are a plague and it's super ez to do so for them xd Oh I would also love to tell you about cheaters of one of my other games but I don't want to make this msg longer, I'll tell you next time 4laugh

Oof I'm safe sweatdrop godness thought you were hunting souls at random, and would start with the biggest crybaby (me) blaugh but I think those are the ones that die last... I bet in an horror movie Shaggy and Scooby would be the ones to die last xp

OMG did you like ddr? I played on play station, I also loved the Pump it up arcade dance machines but I'm so bad at those... love seeing the freestyle videos biggrin

And regarding the AI, it was already better than humans a bit that more a year ago there was a bot that was designed through AI playing against itself in multiple games and resulted in one of the most advanced models. It played really weirdly for us humans because it sacrificed pieces in order to get positional advantages that we could never see, not even people that have played for years. OOHH btw, do you know the "mechanical Turk"? xp
