Hello Gaians! My name is ominous_13. I am an aspiring writer and semi-architect. I am an big fan of anime and manga. I suppose that makes me an otaku.....cool!So, yeah. Have you ever heard something or saw something that really changed your outlook on life, even if it was just a little bit? That happened to me the other day. I heard this song for the first time. It was from the album Quadrophenia by the Who called "Love, Reign O'er Me." (It's on the left if you want to listen). According to the story, the main character in Quadrophenia is struggling with a multiple personality disorder. Throughout the entire rock-opera he is dumped upon and cast aside. At the end of the story, he is near a cliff debating whether or not to take his own life. Then it suddenly rains. The boy finds redemption in the rain and decides to start over again.
I did not know the story before I listened to the song. But that did not matter. The song brought me to tears. I suppose the song can be considered religious. No matter what we do, we are always second to nature. But with nature comes life and love--the two most beautiful things to ever be created. Our lives are not insignificant, but we must remember that it is not weak or pointless to surrender to love or to the rain.
