Yo! I was born and raised in nyc. Here because of a friend. Also here hoping to meet some people that share the same interests as me or can open my eyes to new exciting stuff. My hobbies are sort of dorky. I like reading, tv, movies, games and anime. I like creating stories as well, and characters. I just never been able to commit them to paper. But people are interested when I do tell in role playing. My current addiction is World of Warcraft. Even playing on a role playing server. Theirs very little in the way of role playing there. Just gold item grinding just like here. Plus the added bonus of killing others and skinning animals. My favorite foods. Pineapple, gyros, French Toast, tortellini, calzone ( sausage and broccoli ) To drink half cup of juice the other half sprite or seltzer. I like my bubbles. I think my goal would be to write stories. Granted my writing skills suck. As you can clearly see. Maybe working with glass. Don't know why interested in working on making or tinkering with materials.

Quit WoW for now. Hoping to go back or playing knights of the old republic online. Maybe getting ff 14 for ps3. Got a new job. Thinking going back to school as well.

Internet relationships. Sort of like the patty cake scene in who famed roger rabbit. It's a nice fantasy. But in the end it's just patty cake.

Finally caught up with Lost. Interesting series. Finished off watching Battlestar Galactica. Interesting ending. Saw gunslinger girl season 1 and 2 and Aquarion recently. Good stuff. Saw Shikabane Hime. That one made me very uncomfortable. I know japanese have a like of sexual complexes. But this one might be going a little too far.

Saw darker then black. Was good series. Saw Shakugan no Shana. I liked the series a whole lot. Very funny.

This year's animes I liked. Top list Highschool of the dead. I need more. Next Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao Aka The Demon King. Fun stuff. Angel Beats funny and sad. But up lifting. Katanagatari Very funny. Great lines. "If you try to posses me be warned. My body is weak and clumsy I'm not proud to say this. But I think a bunny could kill me." Arakawa under the Bridge. Very funny. Blind leading the blind. Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan Is good. Annoying close to being boylove. Thank god the main character female. Good drama and very cool historical battles. Sekirei ~Pure Engagement Good sequel to Sekirei. The Legend of the Legendary heroes. Good. Needs more to flesh it out. Ookami-san to Shichinin Oh noes another love hina Naru Narusegawa type character. But she a studied boxing. Occult Academy Good series. Shiki (TV) slow story line. But good so far. Asobi ni Iku yo Gonna make cat girl people. How come they still have human ears. FAIL! Seitokai Yakuindomo perverted girls. I didn't meet any of these in high school. They might exist in yours but not mine. Strike Witches Season 2 it's like first. Lots of girl on girl hugging and panties shots. Kaichou wa Maid-sama Oh noes another love hina Naru Narusegawa type character. She the type even on her death bed. Knowing she has like 30 seconds of life left. Will refuse to say those three words. To the guy she loves. You have to be so FREAKING M to be with her.

This years Anime series I liked. So far.

Just finished watching three seasons of hell girl. If she really existed. We would have no people left in the world. Good classic japanese horror in modern setting.
Not an anime. Misfits is a British superpower dark comedy. Can't wait for season three. Not sure how they going to do it without Nathan's character. Not sure anyone can pull off, being that much of a jackass. But who knows.
Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai; Aka My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute, also known as Ore no Imōto or Oreimo. When I heard they were doing a second season. I was like great. Then was like 3-4 shows long. I was NO!!!!!! Good series. Would have loved a full second season.
Lots of rumors about second season of Highschool of the Dead. But seems the artists and manga company are fighting. Not sure what it's all about. Just sucks that season two bogged down in redtape and ego trips.
Stein's Gate still on going. Been fun to watch so far. Hope the end doesn't disappoint me.
Tiger and bunny is good too. Liked the idea of superhero with company logos all over them like race car drivers. Granted I hate nascar sports. I feel a little sorry for blue rose. She pretty so they give her a sexy hero outfit. But when the bullets start flying, she runs. Because she shows too much skin. While all the guys get bulletproof outfits.
Other series I liked this year are. Ao no Exorcist; C - The money of soul and Possibility Control; The World God Only Knows; AnoHana; Yumekui Merry; Mahou Shoujo Madoka; Gosick; Level E; Kore wa Zombie Desu ka; X-Men; Hanasaku Iroha; Dog Days; Moshidora; Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi; Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko; Hen Zemi; Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san. The last two are a little gross pranks and subjects matter. I was on the fence putting Hanasaku Iroha on my like list. But somehow I drawn in by the story. Guess the reason is because if you put a challenge before her. She faces it. Sort of nasty what she did to her childhood friend. I'm trying not to be a spoiler.

Had high hopes for Freezing, IS – Infinite Stratos, Dragon Crisis!, Onii-chan no Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!!, Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai, Battle Girls - Time Paradox, Astarotte’s Toy, Hidan no Aria, Seikon no Qwaser. All lackluster storylines or characters. Shame since most of them had very good artwork. For example in Hidan no Aria the main character Aria seemed less interesting then the bad girl she plays against.

Going to NYC Comiccon. Can't wait to go. Over a year from the last one. Should have taken up my brother's offer to visit him in CA. For their comiccon. Maybe next year's.
