Don't mind me randomly brining up an old topic buttt. ninja
It just came up in a conversation today that UWMadison goes twice as face and UWMilwaukee in Japanese lessons. (Because we take two semesters to get through 1 text book and they finish the text book in a semester)
We also finally learned the basic 1-10 kanji today. This stuff is so painfully slow. DX
How is your roomie? Good or do you wana toss their arse out?

I started at level one. Based on UWM's Japanese program we'd rank at about 1.75 so the first few months are going to be mind numbingly boring. The teacher keeps trying to get me to leave and come back for level two but if I do that I wont be a full time student =

Yeah, it was brilliant! Made me cry, but it was still spectacularly good.
You should get into Doctor Who. I got my sister obsessed with it recently and she loves it even though she refuses to watch any of the other Doctors until she's seen all of the ones with David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor. You don't really need to watch all of them, unless you want to understand all of it, then I suggest starting from Series 1 of the new series. I believe the Cudahy library has it if you want to rent it or you can watch it on YouTube.
If you do, you find out who's hand that is in that jar and where Jack randomly disappears to in between Season 1 and 2 of Torchwood and a whole other bunch of stuff.
