Ok, to buy stuff you click the "Shop" button. From there you could go to many different shops that are loaded with different items. The "Marketplace" has items that are being sold by other Gaians... and you could sell items there for money too. The "My Gaia" tab has things you could do for yourself... like you could fix an aquarium.... or change your avatar.... or your house or car, with items you buy at the shops. The Daily Chance is this thing that is on the top corner, when you see that... click it. It get's you random free stuff. The "Community" tab has the forums and stuff. You can go and find random threads/topics to talk about. And you can meet new people who have stuff in common with you... they will talk to you and make you feel welcome... just tell them you are new and want to feel welcome and learn more. "Guilds" are big groups of people that devote a whole "forum" to a specific topic... like the "I <3 Kittens" Guild... talks about kittens? lol Stuff like that. "Clans" are related to the game zOMG, which is a big game Gaia made.... there is a tutorial on how to play THAT game when you start it. The "Arena" is a place where people draw stuff, or make avatars, or their house.... and get feedback from people on how good it is. The winner every week gets looots of gold, but it's pretty hard to win, and I suggest you dont try until you get some really good items. You can like, comment on people's avatars and art and stuff though, for gold. "World" has the "Towns"... where you can walk around and talk to people you know. The "Storyline" is a bunch of little comics that tell the story of different things that have happened in Gaia, from Halloween... to Christmas events. "Games has a bunch of fun little games on Gaia.... you can play them for gold! Every game you play gets you more gold.
