I've recently celebrated my 15th year being a Gaian.
(2/19/13 - 1st day with this account. Feb.'07 was 1st time ever on Gaia. Got hacked and never got OG account back, typical. Had a hiatus most of 2015/2016 though.) ((I feel old. sweatdrop )) I mostly pop online nowadays to update my avatar so my computer has cute avatars too lol.

I have a quadruple-seizure disorder that I've had for more than half my life by now.
There is no cure currently and I'm just barely getting by on four medications.
I also found out in late 2018 that I have a condition called Hydrocephalus of the Pituitary Gland. Basically it's "water on the brain", and by water they mean spinal fluid, leaking into the skull and brain.
I am also legally blind without my strong prescription glasses, and because of the Hydrocephalus and Epilepsy my vision gets worse every 6 months easily.
My memory also suffers because of brain damage too.
I have a service dog that goes with me everywhere and when I stay home she is lazier than I am.
I'm an aunt to four.
Lastly, I'm currently studying in Uni; Metaphysicist in training; translation: Old Soul, Sage, Prophetess, Seer. Yeah you can study that now, if you find the right school.

I read your profile and so much was relatable. Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki-Sama are and have continued to be HUGE parts of my life. My Neighbor Totoro was my first Ghibli movie as a kid, and I didn't have many friends in school, I was bullied a lot for being "the weird hyper girl with hypersensitivity". I have Asperger's Autism (among other kinds of both mental and physical disabilities.)
So, since I was so different in elementary school from "normal" kids. ( I use the phrase neurotypical now. Normal is different for everyone. Everybody has their own "normal". It may not be something everyone understands, but it's natural for the person themselves, therefore normal for them. <3 )
But my point being: Ghibli movies by Miyazaki: My Neighbor Totoro in particular... Totoro was my best friend before I knew it, and if I had a bad day I'd come home to watch Totoro, or read Junie B. Jones books... I have so many fond childhood memories. Before seeing My Neighbor Totoro, I was already fixated on cats. They were my obsession and that's how my Asperger's diagnosis was found. Catbus was the best bus. x3
