I AM SO BORED SO i'M GONNA POST THIS ONE THING i TYPED ON MIRCOSOFT WORD, AND ITS REALLY LONG!!
I used to be a happy girl, young, care free, and I had everything a girl could want. Popularity, friends, money, boyfriends, all that jazz. But I didn’t have one thing, true love. Yeah I had all those boyfriends, but they only loved me for my popularity. So I never considered them to be real “boy friends”. I often wandered mindlessly through the hallways, looking at one boy. Takeshi. He was my dream, he was my God, but I couldn’t have him. Nnnooo… If I was caught with this “nerd” I would be done for, for sure. So I just admired him from afar, and only spoke to him once.
“Hey, Seria, there is like, this nerd over there who totally called me a…well… a”, the girl shuffled her feet and whispered “Who-“ I stopped her. I sighed, with no intention of doing this, but to be miss popularity, I had to.
I walked up to Takeshi and said to him in a rude tone, “Hey you boy! What do ya’ think yer doing to my friends? Man, you got some nerve trying to act all ‘cool’ and all. You need to learn some manners!” But in my mind was a whirling statement that went something like, “FOOL! You’re the rude one! Stop ‘dissing’ this poor kid!” But as much as I wanted to listen to my mind, my world just yelled, “Popularity is life! Nerd boy there, is a fate worse than death!”
All the girls replied in the way I was standing, hand on my hip, left knee bent, all of that. They all just said, “Yeah!” I knew I was wrong. I knew it wasn’t right, but I had to. I had to be rude and disgusting to be loved, that’s how my life worked. But I was wrong. Again.
As I went through middle and parts of high school, I was always queen. My mom would always buy me anything and everything I asked for, so that she would be “cool” and “hip”. I knew my mom would kill me for sure if I was caught with “Nerdy Wordy”. Or so he was called.
The girls began laughing at him, but he didn’t cry and look down or get all emo. He just looked up at me and asked, “Why?”
To tell you the truth, I didn’t know why. It all seemed to real to be miss popularity, so I kept my cool and just turned, and merely walked away in my “cat walk” style. I was soon followed by the other girls, it was like follow the leader and who ever didn’t, was always on the outskirts of town. One very good example: Takeshi.
As the days of school flew by, so did my life. I didn’t have any pit stops, nor did I have time to stop. Maybe that’s why I never took into consideration what my life would be like if I had never become Miss Popularity when I was in third grade. It almost seemed like my mind was going ninety miles an hour, yet the speed limit was forty-five. All hope had seemed lost, but when I was all alone in the library one Saturday morning, my life seemed to have switched gears.
“Seria?”
I looked up. There he was. There was the God of my mind, yet the devil of my world. There was Takeshi Kurasagawa.
I muttered a few words, then abruptly stood up, starting towards the front door.
“Wait”, Takeshi called for me.
I gulped. I wasn’t ready for any of this, “being caught with Nerdy Wordy.” If I was, I knew I would get hanged the next day for sure!
I wanted to keep moving, but legs felt like they were made of lead. My mind kept yelling at me, “Talk to him! You know you love him, right?” But my world was all in my face saying, “He’s a nerd! Just keep on walking, and stop the talking!”
Screw you world.
I turned to Takeshi, looking the least bit happy. I gulped again, and softly asked, “Yes?”
Takeshi wasn’t smiling, but he didn’t look mad, sad, or even flustered. He just looked content. I sat down on a chair and looked at him, like he was some sort of alien.
