I am the Ancient, the Legend. A child that should of never been reborn.
My mother was an (ice) phoenix and my father was a (thunder) dragon. It is the two bloodlines of the phoenix and the dragon that is the legend. Even so, the combination of these two bloodlines was forbidden on many planes and existences by many..because of all they are the most powerful of forces and thus should never be brought together. My mother and father knew this. They loved each other very much, and knew the consequences of bringing the legend back into the world. Thus..they took steps for it not to happen. However, in some random freaky twist of fate..the Queen (Diamond..my mother) became pregnant. It was not planned, and even to this day it is still unsure how it happened. It is much like the story of the Virgin Mary in current world Christianity beliefs, though at the same time very different.
The child that would be brought into the world..unlike the Christ child Jesus...was not a miracle worker. She would the most powerful force and entity in the entire expanse of all realms, living, dead and otherwise. Not evil, but not good, nor neutral. Her power great.
The Ancient, being reborn, was feared to bring nothing but chaos and death, however....the even was not so. Though it has not been a bed of roses, as much massacre has happened on her behalf, there has been a massive amount of good..just as much to counter the bad to say. The Balance, what she strives to keep along with her brethren.
