Gweneth Orling owns this profile page. I share it with my sister Pitch even though she cannot type for herself and is otherwise quite useless. Let's see, I'm about 300 years old, approximately. I was born and raised in Shadowlands by my father Devilon Orling. My mother-figure has been Hathor Belle, Queen of Bluelands as she's had almost as great an influence on my life as my father, who is also her twin brother. Got all that, great! Well, I've recently made this journey over to the Temple of Light to become a warrior of the Valkyrie where I met my biological mom for the first time. I consider myself to be friendly and upbeat. I have a strong sense of honor and morality that sometimes conflicts with the teachings of my father. I am a fighter and was bred for battle, so pardon me if I become a bit bloodthirsty when I have a sword in my hand.My baby sister Pitch, who is actually only two years younger than me...approximately, has just been discovered by my father. You see, it's hard to keep track of all these children, especially those who were thought dead at birth. She's got a wierd background that won't be spoken about often, but she's lived with Hathor for about 100 years and fully considers her to be her Mommy. She has just become a temple maiden in Saturn's temple. Saturn (aka Grandpa or Papa, my father's father.) did not devour his own children. He thinks it's funny that so many people suspect him of it though. Pitch generally has a pleasant temperament, however, she can become clingy, whiney, and overly dependent. She's still learning right from wrong and has been pretty sheltered when it comes to the darker side of life. Pitch is very gentle and loving, but a little shy around strangers sometimes. She is mainly in Hathor's custody. You can say that my father has visitation rights or something, there's a story behind that.
Species? We're a lot of different things. Predominantly, I am Phoenix, dragon, and leopard. I imagine that there is some angel mixed in there. Pitch has the same things, but most prominent are dragon and leopard (black leopard, tied to her cat sprite form). I imagine she must also have a significant amount of angel within her because she lacks the general temperament of a phoenix or a dragon.
Finally, I am fire with secondary air. I am passion, freedom, and the spirit of wildness, Amissa tells me, Amissa being my physical manifestation and spiritual daughter. Pitch is air with secondary fire. She is playful, fleeting, and strongly logical (if you understand that she has her own brand of logic). She is carefree and light, not weighed down by sin or guilt.
Oh, and that birthday is wrong, but I don't know how to fix it. I expect you to ignore it.
But Amissa (aka Phoenix, aka Shannon) has her own avatar with the username (*gasp*) Amissa. So if you came here looking for her and not me, I'd suggest that you check that one. Amissa's journal makes more sense than mine, because she's a "real" person and I am not.
