    Hiyo! And welcome to the small, personal niche of Gaia I call my own. My name is Julian. I've been on Gaia since December 2004 however I'm on-and-off these days trying to be an adult.

    I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm thirty-three years old; a middle school teacher who studied English Lit and Creative Writing. I currently teach, serve, and volunteer in Fairbanks, Alaska. My long-term goals include building a home & family, whatever that looks like.

    I enjoy reading and writing, the taste of a French 75 with gin, sweet pea and frankincense perfumes, hiking, slow alternative music, Thai food & vintage things.

    Some of my favorite bands include FKA Twigs, Heavenly Beat, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Beach Fossils.


    I'm super into literary and visual arts. My most recent favorite read was Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward. My favorite poet is the late Luis Gluck. Bridgerton is a show that's blissfully naive and generous in its depiction of love, and I eat that s**t up.
