Backstory: Falsetto was childhood friends with Jazz. As an adult, Falsetto is dedicated to taking down Forte, more particularly Count Waltz. This is due to their producing the mineral powder which turns innocent people into brainless fighting monsters for the Forte army. The mineral powder is said to be a medicine, though those who would use it have no idea it is a poison. As a leader of the rebel group, Andantino, Falsetto hopes to put an end to this matter.
She is perceptive enough to realize that Jazz's girlfriend, Claves, is in fact a spy for Forte. Though Jazz reads her behaviour and disliking of Claves as jealousy at first, which it probably was, he eventually believes that she is the spy for a brief time.
Falsetto does not back down from a fight. Her competitive nature is shown in the speech she gives Rondo regarding Claves and her explanation as to why she ran away. She realized that when Claves died there was no other way to compete with her except to defeat Rondo. Perhaps it was her competitive side that lead her not to call out Claves as a spy, being as she'd want a fair competition against Claves for Jazz.
