The hammi you have on was actually the first item I had ever quested for! Sadly, I abandoned it like a terrible person so I could get the OMG because the prices kept going up and I was afraid it would get out of my reach. One day I'll get it back, if only for memory's sake haha. But yes, even though I don't equip it much anymore, the OMG is a treasured piece that I will never get rid of. :3
And I fully agree about the people not being so sociable. I've noticed it even in the questing forum where I would spend most of my days when I was active. There are threads that people hardly ever go into. I saw some that were almost 20 pages long and it was pretty much all the person that started it talking to themselves and a random bump from someone that would never return. It's really a large part of the reason that I haven't really felt a desire to fully come back. I liked the interactions, not just games and earning gold. The latter was just a bonus!
Well only 2 of my old friends have really popped up. So it's not too terribly spectacular. But it makes me super happy nontheless. X)
And yessssss I remember when I got my OMG hat! I only had to pay 250k for it and that was after a massive spike in the economy. When I finally logged in after my crazy hiatus, I choked on my coffee. I got 12345 gold just for clicking on the stupid little daily box. And so I gandered at the marketplace. And almost had a stroke lol. It's crazy to see where it's gotten to!
And sorry for the delay. Too much life at the moment!
Yea, it's definitely not the same for me, either. It's become a bit of a money whore haha.
And it's the case for me, a lot of the people that I became friends with have all left.
Strangely, a few of them have popped back on, so it gives me a little more motivation to check in.
I used to quest a lot, but...it's lost the appeal with all the items that they pump out now. :/
I felt bad because I hadn't logged in in a while and I know you were really looking for one, so I'm glad that you stayed on me about it and now you can enjoy it. wink
