Ivan trudged on the path, dusting the dirt on his arms as he heaved a nervous sigh. Today, he was going to do something he never expected that he, of all people, would do.
Russia was never the romantic type of guy, and like Germany and Sweden, he seems to have a difficulty conveying his feelings to others. But yesterday, with the help of Lithuania (who seemed surprisingly good at love advices), he managed to acquire basic know-hows to expressing himself. This morning, he bought a bouquet of the best flowers on display and even some chocolates (which, Lithuania said, would make a girl all happy) to give her. The reason why eh liked her? That is something that he himself never got to answer.
As soon as he stepped on the porch, he hesitated, but after moments of debating with himself, he finally mustered enough courage to knock on the door gently, rearranging his hair once more and checking his breath. He hoped she would find his visit a pleasant surprise.

Ivan seemed startled and sort of pushed the bouquet and chocolates to her, the confessions inches before her. He reddened and looked away instantly.
"I-- I wanted to pay you a visit... A--and on the way, I planned to give you... eh.. gifts.." Russia stammered a bit, the feeling was strange!
He hoped she would accept them and not question the suddenness, but because of his red face, it was pretty obvious what he came for.
