I was once a mortal human like you, in love. One day I was on a date with my wife, we were headed back to our car from the movies, it was a premier so we had to park a few blocks away, when it happened. We were ambushed by a group of vampires. I tried to save my wife but to no prevail they had bit her and turned her against me so I ran. Once I got away the realization hit me I was alone and enraged by the vampires did so I joined a group of vampireslayers. We were after a group of vampires which happened to be the same vampires that attacked me years ago. We were winning until their lord and my former wife joined the fight. They slew us horribly, as I lie there dying I was maddened at what they had done to her. Then it happened, the reason the vampires came this direction was because they were being chased by werewolves so by the time they got to us we were all dead except for me. They realized that we were after the vampires to and that they needed more help so they turned me into one of them. So with my newfound strength and my new comrades we caught up to the vampires and there was an epic battle. We were evenly matched, I slew every vampire in my way as I seeked out their lord to get my revenge. When I found him I attacked, we were matched and as I closed in for the final blow my wife, and the vampire commander intercepted and together they fought back, but I couldn't make myself attack her. They were beating me when the werewolf leader stepped in. I told him not to kill her,but he just gave a sly smile and helped me fight back. We slew the vampire lord mecilessly and as it ended the werewolf leader lunged formy wife. It all happened so fast, as I realized it the werewolves piled on me to keep me from stopping him and he slew her. As she died she realized who I was and told me one last time that she loved me and bit me so I became a Halfling. From then on I seperated from the group and hunted vampires and werewolves at any cost even selling my soul to sorcerers and any one else who would allow me to slay werewolves and vampires.
